I once had my eye on a woman called Annie
I watched her with latent desire
Her figure was cute, her intelligence canny
Her smile made me gently perspire
We chatted, I flirted, I spewed adulation
She said she was having such fun
She laughed and she fawned, then to my consternation
Admitted to being a nun
My heart skipped a beat and I asked if she'd ever
Invited a man to her bed
Her eyes gave a twinkle, her lips explained, "Never -
I'd much rather eat them instead"
I squirmed with unease at this awkward conjuncture
Deciding to get up and flee
For though I may hunger for Annabel Lecter
Thank God she won't hunger for me
